Maxrac® Structure Mezzanine is a modular storage solution that helps you make better use of your warehouse space. It creates extra storage levels inside existing facilities, allowing businesses to increase capacity without the cost of building new structures. With its strong, flexible, and efficient design, this system is ideal for many industries looking to optimize their storage.
The Racking Structure Mezzanines are built on a strong steel frame. The main parts include upright columns fixed firmly to the warehouse floor, providing primary support. Horizontal beams connect the columns at each level, creating a stable grid that holds the platforms where goods are stored. Diagonal braces are often added to strengthen the structure and improve stability, especially in areas with heavy loads or vibrations.
Columns are the first step in the assembly process. They are carefully positioned according to the layout plan and securely anchored to the warehouse floor using bolts or other suitable methods. This provides a stable foundation for the entire structure.
After the columns are in place, crossbeams are connected using high-strength bolts or welding, depending on the system design. All connections are tightened or welded to meet structural requirements and ensure stability.
The decks-made of steel grating, plywood, or other materials-are installed on top of the crossbeams. They are fixed with screws or clips to prevent movement and create a safe, stable surface for storage.

Design is limited by warehouse ceiling height, local building codes, and storage needs. Length and width should fit the warehouse layout and workflow.
Depending on the nature of the stored goods and the local fire regulations, the mezzanine may need to meet specific fire safety requirements. This can include using fire-resistant materials for the construction, installing fire suppression systems, and providing adequate fire exits.
